Babiana is Vondeling’s flagship white blend – a serious, thoughtfully crafted wine that showcases the depth and elegance of South African winemaking. Made from a carefully selected mix of varieties and aged in oak, it delivers richness and complexity while remaining fresh and vibrant.

Expect an expressive nose of roasted almonds, cashews and Turkish delight, layered with lime zest, apricot, orange marmalade, wild honey and pineapple. On the palate it is fresh yet full-bodied, with lovely texture and length, showing notes of rolled oats, white pepper, jasmine, mint, ginger and creamy lemon meringue, all supported by subtle, well-integrated oak.

In the glass:
Pale yellow with a green hue, offering great balance between ripe fruit, gentle spice and elegant structure.

Perfect with:
Chicken tagine with apricots and almonds, aromatic Asian dishes, rich seafood or rabbit in white wine sauce.
