Best known as the backbone of Rioja, this bold red grape has many personalities — and we’ll be exploring them all. From juicy, fruit-driven styles to rich, oak-aged classics, and even some unexpected wine from beyond Spain, this tasting will show just how versatile and surprising Tempranillo can be.

You’ll enjoy six different wines, each poured and discussed by Rebecca, our resident wine buyer and in-house expert, who’ll share stories, winemaking insights and easy tips on how to taste and compare like a pro (without the snobbery).



Along the way, we’ll serve a selection of nibbles from our board menu — think perfectly matched bites to complement each glass.

Expect a friendly, intimate evening — relaxed, chatty, and full of discovery. Whether you’re new to wine or already know your crianza from your reserva, you’ll leave with a few new favourites and a much deeper appreciation of this incredible grape.
