Riderless Charger is a distinctive Col Fondo-style wine from Renishaw Hall – a traditional, lightly sparkling wine made to be enjoyed in its purest form. “Col Fondo” translates as “with the bottom”, meaning the wine is bottled undisgorged and unfiltered, leaving a fine natural sediment and a beautifully authentic character.

Made from Crouch Valley Bacchus grapes and fermented spontaneously, this is a low-pressure, gentle fizz designed to evolve and improve in bottle. Expect a light haze in the glass, delicate bubbles and fresh aromas of pear, apple, lemon and elderflower. The palate is bright and lively with flavours of hedgerow fruits, peach, crisp apple and citrus.
