Two iconic red wine styles. Two international wine celebrations. One very good excuse to drink some big reds.
To celebrate International Cabernet Sauvignon Day (3rd September) and Chianti Day (4th September), we’re bringing them together for an evening dedicated to bold, characterful red wines.
This tasting is very much for the heavy red wine lovers.
We’ll explore a range of Cabernet Sauvignons from different regions around the world — from rich, powerful and full-bodied styles to more structured and elegant expressions — alongside classic Chianti, showcasing why Sangiovese remains one of Italy’s most food-friendly and expressive grapes.
Expect dark fruit, spice, oak, savoury notes, plenty of discussion around regional styles, and a relaxed guided tasting designed for anyone who loves bigger reds and wants to explore them a little further.
